Scope Of Work

SPRC has engaged Global Testing Services Malaysia to carry out high voltage tests consisting of Insulation Resistance, Polarisation Index, Tan Delta and Partial Discharge testing on the 11kV Stator Winding of GE Generator at SPRC, Rayong, Thailand in March 2019.

Project Challenges 

This test was proposed to be carried out as an investigation test after the presence of white powder at the stator end winding was noticed during routine inspections. A full scope of electrical diagnostic testing on stator winding was requested and carried out in order to verify the integrity and reliability of the stator winding insulation in service.

All works were conducted without safety or environmental incident.
